Silenced – And By A Picture No Less

11 Mar

Occasionally, I can be a little long-winded when attempting to describe an experience, a feeling or even when providing (what should be) a simple description.

Luckily for you, today I don’t have to be. (Cue sighs of relief).

Here are some photos that I took in Paris over the weekend. With these, I no longer require any words to describe just why I have fallen in love with this city…

And finally, I leave you with a quote that has always helped me through my travels:

Thank you! It’s certainly a quote to live by 🙂

They are beautiful pictures. It’s true, you seem to have told a story without any words. I love your blog and look forward to many more posts.

Oh my! What beautiful photographs of Paris!!! Been on my bucket list for a while. My daughter’s biggest dream is to go there, so I’m hopefully going to take her and Mama in 2 years. Gotta save, save, save. Lucky you, to get to take pictures of and visit this great city. Love it! Like that quote, too! 😉 Wait, you live there?!

    • The Awake List March 12, 2012 at 12:17 am #

Thank you! I’m sure all the saving will be well worth it once you get here!
And even though I’m now living here, I still stand by that quote… Maybe that’s why I tend to get myself into so much trouble! 🙂

No words needed! You are a lucky duck!

    • The Awake List March 12, 2012 at 12:20 am #

Why thank you! Yes, I’m definitely counting my blessings! Now, if only I could win the lotto….

You definitely have some contrasts in there. Paris is a long way away from where I am in USA’s Midwest, so it’s nice to see some little bits of it. Thanks.

Please feel free to drop by and view my interpretation of Contrast:

        • The Awake List March 12, 2012 at 7:55 am #

Not yet… It is definitely on my list too! I’m scared that if I see one show, I’ll want to go again and again!

Beautiful pics, and I love the black and whites too.

One of my favorite quotes is (sadly) one of my own:
“What time is it, what day is it and is there a cab going anywhere I need to be?”

    • The Awake List March 12, 2012 at 5:38 pm #

And a great quote it is. Sounds a bit like something I say after waking up from a big night. 😉

Oh no I’m a better reader than blogger so I don’t post. I just lurk around and leave the occasional comment if I come across a post that I enjoy! Lol.

Leaving London to head to Paris today! Was feeling a bit reluctant to leave London, as I have loved being here so much. Your post has helped me feel more excited about my Paris adventure. Thank you, my dear!
